Zoho Projects

Track and collaborate whole projects or task and issue lists with both internal and external ‘client’ users. Zoho Projects has a great user interface and is very easy to use which really matters when you are running quickly to move project tasks to completion. It certainly has all the functionality that you will need but does allow you to remove and customise the things that you need to streamline your activities.

Clareti of course uses Projects for its internal activities and often invites our clients to be part of the projects which speeds tasks up considerably as it gives our clients access to live task progress.

Post comments, @mention users or teams, and hold discussions around various elements such as milestones, tasks, or events.

Time Tracking

Track staff time on projects and approve daily or weekly time sheets with time rolled up to task lists and projects. Have staff check in and out and customise your time recording with extensive administrative privileges.

Budget and cost management

Record project costs and invoice the client directly and plan project budgets and monitor variances by task and project.

Automation

As with all other Zoho applications the ability to automate tasks and create workflows lies at the heart of Zoho Projects. Whether it is enforcing a process through the use of a Blueprint or applying a set of business rules that define the severity of an issue it is all possible to a non-coder. Off application alerts and webhooks are also included to trigger and/or send information to other applications.

Resource management and utilisation

A key aspect of Zoho Project is its ability to see where the resource bottlenecks lie and rebalance work patterns to deal with these. An easy to use Resource utilisation report is available which relies on project task loading. See where problems are going to occur before they do.
